Mumbai: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has retorted to the allegations of BJP and PM Modi. PM Modi had tweeted on November 1 that the people of the country have to be careful of the culture of false promises sponsored by the Congress! Retorting to this tweet of PM Modi 8 days later, Rahul Gandhi wrote on his X account that in July 2022, Prime Minister Modi misled the country by calling the public welfare schemes of the Congress ‘free revdi’. Yet he is campaigning in every state and country by pasting his slips on Congress’ guarantees – and then falsely accusing Congress of not fulfilling its promises.

He further wrote that Modiji, our challenge is, come to Karnataka, roam around and see, investigate – we have fulfilled every promise. Congress’ schemes in Karnataka have changed the fate of crores of women, youth, farmers and the poor. We have also fulfilled promises in Telangana and Himachal.
