Village bullies are fearlessly building houses on Dalit land
Sehore. In Shyampur tehsil, atrocities against farmers belonging to Dalit, Scheduled Caste and Tribal category are not stopping. Despite the court’s stay on the land of Dalit farmers, encroachers are brazenly building permanent houses without any fear. Shyampur Revenue Department is giving open protection to the encroachers under the guidance of Tehsildar.
Shocked and troubled by the domineering encroachers, the poor farmer family of Dalit Balai caste of Karanjkheda village reached the Collectorate and gave a complaint letter to Deputy Collector Vandana Rajput and District President of Bharatiya Janata Party Ravi Malviya and took strict action against the government employees and encroachers who were giving protection to the encroachers and the revenue records. There has been a demand to free the agricultural land registered in it from encroachers.
Kailash Malviya, a poor farmer of Dalit Balai caste, said that a year after submitting the application, the demarcation of the land was done in the presence of villagers including RI Dhirendra Verma, Patwari Mukesh Verma, Shyampur Police Station and Village Chowkidar Prem Singh, but the Revenue Department did not approve the demarcation of the land. The encroachers were not removed from our land by the government, they were left only after giving a verbal warning. Despite the stay order of the court on the land, other encroachers including Makhan Singh are building houses while some are tying their animals on the land and heaps of garbage are left there. Are going.
Last night the encroachment had covered the roof of the house. He is threatening to kill if he protests. While this land is ours, we have all the documents and the said land is also registered in our name on the revenue portal. Now if justice is not provided then the family will be forced to take suicidal steps.
