Scheduled Caste Congress officials today (Thursday) staged a protest at Gandhi Chowk Neemthal against atrocities on Dalits in the district.

Indefinite protest has been started over atrocities against Dalits in Karamedi village of Kurvai and encroachment of land leased by powerful BJP leaders in Aulija of Gyaraspur and arrest of accused in case of Dalit killing in Sironj village.
