Video made after raping Dalit girl, case registered against four

Bareilly. In Baradari police station area of the district, Mufit Khan, who claimed to be a prince from a Scheduled Caste girl, raped her and made an obscene video of her. With the help of this, he blackmailed the girl and handed her over to his brothers.

On Saturday, on the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered against the main accused Mufeet Khan, his brother Yasin, Taufiq and one other resident of Pilibhit under sections of gang rape, intimidation, IT Act, SC-ST Act and cheating. A girl living in a village in the district told that she had met the accused while searching for a job one and a half years ago. Six months ago, he called her on the pretext of getting a job and took her to his friend’s house and raped her. Made obscene video and started blackmailing. After this, he was forcibly taken to Delhi, where it was found out that his real name is Mufit Khan. When he tried to run away, he was beaten and caste based words were used. After this, he was handed over to Yasin, Taufiq and another youth. Everyone raped her. Inspector Baradari Amit Pandey said that a case has been registered in the matter and action is being taken.
