- Chandrashekhar Azad’s Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) could not even open its account in Haryana
- Bahujan Samaj Party, which contested the elections in Jammu and Kashmir, got less votes than NOTA
- It is being called Chandrashekhar Azad’s biggest political mistake
Abhay Singh Rathore, Lucknow: Chandrashekhar Azad’s Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram), who became MP from UP’s Nagina seat by performing better than BSP in the Lok Sabha elections, could not even open its account in Haryana. Whereas Bahujan Samaj Party, which contested the elections in Jammu and Kashmir, got less votes than NOTA. At the same time, the decision to contest elections in alliance with JJP in Haryana is being called the biggest political mistake of Chandrashekhar Azad. While in the Haryana assembly elections, Mayawati’s nephew Akash Anand also worked very hard to take the party across. But still the party has not achieved success.
Dalit thinker says that both the leaders will have to prove themselves as social workers first. Only then will they be able to become better leaders in the future and perform well in the elections. Also, political analysts are considering Chandrashekhar Azad as a more influential leader than Mayawati’s nephew.
People rejected both Akash and Chandrashekhar in Haryana
Actually, after the Lok Sabha elections, the results of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections have come. Be it Akash Anand’s BSP or Chandrashekhar Azad’s ASP, both the parties have been rejected by the public. Both the parties have not even opened their account in Haryana. But Akash and Chandrashekhar have left no stone unturned to make their party successful in Haryana. In Haryana, Chandrashekhar Azad contested the election in alliance with Dushyant Chautala’s JJP. Whereas BSP contested the election in alliance with INLD. Mayawati had made Akash Anand the second star campaigner and Akash also campaigned a lot for the party. But Akash and Chandrashekhar, being young leaders of Dalits, could not leave any indelible mark, nor could they win a single seat for the party. They could not do anything special in terms of vote percentage either.
Who performed better among Chandrashekhar and Akash?
After the results of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir, there is a discussion about who has performed better among the two new young leaders Chandrashekhar Azad and Akash Anand who are doing politics of Dalits. Regarding this, senior journalist Pramod Goswami says that Akash Anand has got the BSP party decorated. Whereas Chandrashekhar Azad has established his party and identity by working hard in the last several years. In this way, Chandrashekhar Azad is more mature politically. Whereas Akash Anand is still learning the basics of politics. Chandrashekhar has become an MP by preparing his ground on his own. It is not yet decided whether Akash Anand will contest the elections or not. Pramod Goswami said that Chandrashekhar Azad has many years of experience in politics while Akash has been in politics for only a few years.
Aakash is restricted by Mayawati from contesting elections to speaking – Pramod Goswami
Along with this, the senior journalist said that Chandrashekhar Azad is completely free to express his views. Whereas Akash Anand cannot say or do anything without Mayawati’s consent. He told that Akash is restricted by Mayawati. When Akash spoke against BJP during the Lok Sabha elections, Mayawati removed him from the post. Whereas Chandrashekhar is playing free hand. Senior journalist Naval Kant Sinha said that if we talk about success, the success that BSP supremo Mayawati had is no longer there in the party, so in such a situation, how will Akash Anand’s success be counted. But Chandrashekhar Azad has definitely gained a profile by coming out of a common boy. Also, Chandrashekhar has reached the Lok Sabha. In this regard, Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Azad is a rising leader. On the other hand, Akash Anand will have to work very hard.
Chandrashekhar Azad has his own identity in the Hindi speaking belt – Senior journalist
Along with this, the senior journalist said that in terms of elections, Chandrashekhar Azad is limited to his region but in terms of popularity, Chandrashekhar is a known name. People in the Hindi speaking belt know Chandrashekhar well. Although Chandrashekhar has contested for the first time in Haryana elections, BSP has contested elections in many states so far. In such a situation, the results not coming out right for BSP is a matter of concern for it. Dalit thinker Satish Prakash said that to become the leader of any society, the mindset of that society should be known. Dalit society wanted to see Chandrashekhar Azad as a social leader. But Chandrashekhar thought it right to set himself as a political leader first, leaving sociality behind.
First prove yourself as a social worker, then become a leader – Dalit thinker
The Dalit thinker said that similarly, Dalit society wants to see Akash Anand in the same form. Akash does politics of a legacy. Hence, his political understanding is good. But now both the leaders will have to prove themselves. Because they will have to give first priority to their social understanding. The one who proves himself better will be accepted by the society. He said that the parties of Akash and Chandrashekhar have contested the Haryana assembly elections but the result of both is zero. He said that whether it is Chandrashekhar or Akash Anand, they are not better than Baba Saheb and Kanshiram. Baba Saheb and Kanshiram first started a social movement and then came into politics. Therefore, Chandrashekhar and Akash will first have to prove themselves as social leaders and workers. Only then will they be able to become better leaders.
