Unnatural rape with Dalit woman constable, Imran married as ‘Ashok’ after becoming a Buddhist
Lucknow: A female constable from the Dalit community, posted in the Police Department in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, has accused her husband of harassment and unnatural rape. According to the report, the name of the accused husband is Imran Khan, who is claimed to have married the victim by becoming a Buddhist himself. Imran alias Ashok is also a police constable, currently posted in Pilibhit, UP. However, the arrest of the accused has not yet taken place.

As per reports, the FIR has been registered in Shivkuti police station area of Prayagraj. According to the victim constable, she belongs to the Scheduled Caste (SC) of Hindu religion. In the year 2016, she met Imran for the first time at the Moradabad police training camp. Imran of the police department had trained him. Later Imran married the victim. At that time Imran had told the victim that his divorce case was going on in the court. Accused Imran is basically a resident of district Sambhal near a Minari Masjid. The woman constable, originally from Varanasi, claims that Imran converted to Buddhism with her and married Ashoka.
As per the complaint, after marriage, her husband Imran along with his father and brother started torturing her, and also had unnatural sex with her. The female constable suspects that her husband is also in contact with another girl. The victim has had 1 child from Imran. On the complaint of the woman constable, the police have named constable Imran alias Ashok along with his father Sultan Khan and brother Mohsin Khan as accused in the FIR. Police have registered a case against these accused under sections 498-A, 323, 377, 504, 506, 376, 328 and 420 of IPC.
