Mumbai: Uddhav Thackeray, who always criticizes Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s Delhi visit, has himself reached Delhi for a three-day visit. Here he will meet Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, I.N.D.I.A. alliance constituent party Akhilesh Yadav and other leaders. Shinde Sena spokesperson Sanjay Nirupam and others have raised questions on his visit. It has been termed as a visit of compulsion. Uddhav Thackeray has gone to Delhi for the first time after the Lok Sabha election results. All eyes are on the tour before the upcoming assembly elections. Actually, Uddhav Thackeray’s party wants Uddhav Thackeray to be made the face of the Chief Minister in the upcoming assembly elections, which Sharad Pawar has already rejected. Now he has gone to Delhi to convince Congress leaders Sonia and Rahul Gandhi. Such is the discussion in political circles.
Who is the face of the Chief Minister?
Maharashtra Congress is already against Uddhav Thackeray’s proposal. Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole himself has said that Congress has won the maximum number of seats in the Lok Sabha elections, so it will contest on the maximum number of seats. In such a situation, how can the party consider Uddhav Thackeray as the face of the Chief Minister. Recently, Congress in-charge S Chennithala had called a meeting of a 10-member committee to discuss the assembly seats. It was discussed in it that Congress has won the maximum number of seats in the Lok Sabha elections, so it has the right to contest on the maximum number of seats and there will be no face of the Chief Minister in the elections, rather a decision will be taken about the Chief Minister after the election results. It was also said that Uddhav Sena is limited to Mumbai, Konkan and some parts of Marathwada, whereas Congress is in the whole of Maharashtra, so the party should contest on the maximum number of seats.
Uddhav Thackeray’s Delhi visit is important
In such a situation, Uddhav Thackeray’s Delhi visit holds special significance. Uddhav Thackeray is accompanied by his wife Rashmi Thackeray and son and former minister Aditya Thackeray. In this tour, Uddhav Thackeray will talk to the leaders of the India Alliance. Along with this, the strategy for the upcoming assembly elections will also be discussed. It is said that Thackeray will meet Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, NCP chief Sharad Pawar. Along with this, he will also meet the leaders of Aam Aadmi Party, Samajwadi Party and TMC. After reaching Delhi, Uddhav Thackeray first met Maharashtra Congress in-charge Ramesh Chennithala. After this meeting, Sanjay Raut claimed that the Mahavikas Aghadi will get good success in Maharashtra. Apart from this, he will also meet the MPs of Maharashtra, so that the issues of the state and the upcoming elections can be discussed.
Visit of helplessness – Sanjay Nirupam
- Shinde Sena’s chief spokesperson and former MP Sanjay Nirupam took the news of Uddhav Thackeray’s visit. He said that Uddhav Thackeray’s Delhi visit is an example of helplessness. When Hindu Hriday Samrat Bala Saheb Thackeray was alive, national leaders used to come to Matoshree for discussion, but due to the helplessness of power, Uddhav Thackeray is bowing before the Congress high command in Delhi. Nirupam said that to help the people affected by the floods in Pune and Nashik, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde cancelled his Delhi visit and he has started helping the flood victims. But in the greed of the post of Chief Minister, Uddhav Thackeray is knocking on the door of the Congress High Command in Delhi.
