Two accused arrested for assaulting Dalit women when they protested against molestation
Fatuha Police arrested last night two accused who had assaulted Dalit women when they protested against molestation two days ago. The arrested accused are Ranjit Kumar and Satish Kumar.
The police arrested both of them under the SC-ST Act and sent them to judicial custody. Based on the statement of one of the women treated, the police have registered an FIR against six people. In a village in the police station area, two women and a teenage girl, who had gone out to defecate, were beaten up and seriously injured when they protested against teasing.
