Transgender welfare board meeting held

Gandhinagar: A meeting of the Transgender Welfare Board (TWB), which functions under the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, was held in Gandhinagar on Monday.

Although the board is expected to meet at least once every six months, the meeting was held for the first time since its constitution in 2019. “We have put forth a list of 19 aspects that the TWB needs to consider,” said Manvi Vaishnav, the project manager of Lakshya Trust.
