There may be an attack on Rahul Gandhi, says Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut
MUMBAI: Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut on Friday said that Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi may be attacked. Raut said a conspiracy is being hatched against Rahul Gandhi and members of the INDIA bloc. Raut also said that the state govt’s Mahji Ladki Bahin scheme will shut down after two months adding that govt had stopped payments to all contractors to pay for the Ladki Bahin Yojana.
“Rahul Gandhi is raising the voice of democracy in Lok Sabha. Rahul Gandhi has done the job of showing a mirror to the government. Rahul Gandhi will have to face action again, we are ready. Even though BJP has lost its majority, it seems that the addiction of doing unconstitutional things is not getting rid of them. A conspiracy is being hatched against Rahul Gandhi and all of us in the INDIA bloc. This conspiracy is brewing not here but abroad. So anything can happen. Rahul Gandhi may be attacked tomorrow, we may be attacked. (Narendra) Modi and Amit Shah have been left behind by Rahul Gandhi and the INDIA bloc. Rahul Gandhi has disturbed the sleep of this government. But still we can be attacked with the help of gangsters,” Raut said.
“CM Maji Ladki Bahin scheme is a fraud on the public. Now there is an assembly election but in two months the beloved sisters will not get anything, The MahaYuti govt will pile up debt on the state and run away. The money from the state govt treasury is being used for the CM Ladki Bahin Yojana. But the CM, Deputy CM and MLAs have looted money from contractors and the public. It has come to light that instructions have been given by CM and DCMs not to fund any new work from any department until the Ladaki Bahin Yojana is completed. So far, 1.5 crore women in the state have applied for the Ladki Bahin Yojana. The first installment of this scheme will be given to women on August 19, the day of Raksha Bandhan. Govt contractors will not be paid until then. All files of contractors’ bills have been withheld. The government will pay these contractors only after giving a nod to the beloved sisters,” Raut said.
