The wanted accused of attacking a Dalit journalist has been arrested
The police has arrested the wanted accused of attacking a Dalit journalist about two months ago on the road from Medwa to Unchpadara in Bhaniyana area of ??Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. According to the information, Dalit journalist Hiraram Meghwal had told in his statement on the night of 12 May during his treatment at Bhaniyana Hospital that he was going from Medwa to Unchpadara on his bike. During this time, a Bolero camper vehicle came and blocked his way. Four people in the vehicle attacked him and also insulted him with casteist words. On the basis of the report, the police registered a case.
Three teams were formed under the direction of Superintendent of Police Sudhir Chaudhary and ASP Gopal Singh. Head Constable Kamal Singh and team under the leadership of Circle Officer Bhavani Singh Rathore, team of Head Constable Bhimrao Singh, Constable Subhash Chandra, Kailash, Hazar Singh under the leadership of Sub Inspector Bharmal in charge of District Special Team, team under the leadership of Bhaniyana Police Station Officer Devaram. The teams collected intelligence from Jaisalmer, Phalodi, Jodhpur, Balotra and other states and with the help of technical assistance, the accused Samandar Singh, son of Rajusingh Rawana Rajput, a resident of Panditon Ka Bas of Chamu police station area under Jodhpur district was arrested. The accused is a wanted accused of Jaisalmer with a bounty of Rs. 1000 and Jodhpur rural district with a bounty of Rs. 20000. He is also wanted in Sursagar police station for a long time. This accused has previously gone to jail in the famous Vasudev Ishrani murder case of Jodhpur city. According to the police, three accused have already been arrested in this case.
