Teacher insulted in school, sexually assaulted in college, yet became country’s first transgender civil service officer

India’s First Transgender Civil Servant Officer: Transgender i.e. third gender in India, in common language, the people of Kinnar community have not been accepted by the people even today. Today they are fighting for their acceptance in the 21st century. In today’s time, homosexuality is not even legally a crime, but despite this, the fight for rights in the society is still going on for them. However, facing many difficulties among them, a transgender Aishwarya Rituparna Pradhan has created history. Aishwarya did not let her dreams die in front of various types of cruelty of the society. Aishwarya was heavily insulted by her teachers in school, even sexually assaulted her in the college hostel. She also suffered a lot of mental trauma to come out of the shock of this misdeed, but not losing all this, she thought of doing something big in life and eventually became India’s first transgender civil service officer.
Please tell that Aishwarya Rituparna Pradhan is a resident of Katibageri village in Kandhamal district of Odisha. He first came to know about his gender orientation in class 6. After this, he started treating himself like a woman. This was the time, after which the difficulties of his life kept increasing. Due to his sexual orientation, he was also heavily insulted by his teachers. He was abused a lot in the class, but somehow he completed his schooling. After this, he obtained a graduation degree from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) and also did post graduation in public administration.
Aishwarya Rituparna Pradhan appeared in the Odisha State Civil Services Examination in the year 2010 as a male candidate and qualified the examination. However, despite this, his difficulties did not become easy. People doubted his ability to perform his duty. But, in the year 2014, when transgender was recognized as the third gender by the Supreme Court, then somewhere they got some relief. Soon after that he decided to change his gender from male to female. After this, he also completed the paperwork for gender change. Along with this, she also chose a new name for herself, Aishwarya Rituparna Pradhan.
