Station in charge suspended for negligence in Dalit youth murder case in Rae Bareli
Rae Bareli – Station in charge has been suspended for negligence in the recent murder of a Dalit youth in Nasirabad area of ??Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh.
According to information received from police sources on Saturday, Superintendent of Police Abhishek Agarwal suspended Nasirabad station in charge Jitendra Mohan Saroj last night on charges of negligence in the Dalit murder case.
It is worth noting that some Thakurs and people of other communities are accused of murdering a Dalit person Arjun Saroj in Pichawaria village of Nasirabad area. It is being said that there was some dispute between the accused Dalit youth’s brother who works as a barber. After which Dalit Arjun Saroj was murdered.
All the opposition parties created a lot of uproar regarding the arrest of the named and unknown accused. According to the information received, recently Rae Bareli MP and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi also met the victim Dalit family and he also wrote a letter to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
After all these developments, late last night, Superintendent of Police, Raebareli, Abhishek Agarwal suspended the Nasirabad Police Station Incharge Jitendra Mohan Saroj and in his place, Bhadokhar Police Station Incharge Shivkant Pandey has been posted in Nasirabad.
