In 2016, Kairana was in the news across the country for migration.
Kairana. In 2016, BJP’s veteran leader, late MP Hukum Singh, released a list of 346 families migrating from Kairana and caused a stir in the country. In fact, after the murders of traders by miscreants for not paying extortion money, many people left this place and started living in other cities. After the BJP government came to power, some families returned while some settled in other cities. On Monday, the police administration was in a state of panic as Dalit families sat on a dharna and put up banners demanding migration.
