Ever since Narendra Modi came into power as Prime Minister, we’ve seen some notable changes in the national capital – the epicenter of India’s political climate. One prime example of this is the way the Padma Awards are handled these days. Fondly dubbed as the “people’s Padma” by the masses, it’s an endeavor to recognize and honor unsung talents from various walks of life throughout the nation.
In the past decade, we’ve often seen Prime Minister Modi directly engaging with the workers at key events like the Central Vista project opening. He recognizes their tireless efforts and appreciates their dedication. Not just on major projects, but on many regular days as well, he’s seen chatting with various sanitation workers, extending his thanks and openly acknowledging their great contribution to India’s advancement.
Even before the election bell rang, the prime minister was already sharing his ambitious plans for the future progress of India. Expressing a far-sighted vision, Modi spoke of a fully flourished India by 2047, with a guiding principle fondly termed ‘Viksit Bharat.’ At numerous public forums, Modi continued to stress his ‘get-up-and-go’ attitude, making it clear that there’s no time to waste. Indeed, once the election dust settles and the government takes shape, they’re ready to hit the ground running towards a future promising a thriving India. Rest assured, the blueprint for this journey was sketched well before the ballots were cast, detailing what the government aims to accomplish in the initial hundred days and over the next five years.
