Rape of minor in the name of birthday party, police arrested two accused

In Ranchi, a minor was tricked into drinking alcohol in the name of a birthday party and she was gang-raped. Not only this, after the rape, the youth also made her obscene video viral. A complaint was lodged with the police on behalf of the victim, after which the police took immediate action and arrested two accused.

Ranchi: In Ranchi, two youths called a minor girl in the name of a birthday party and raped her and made a video of it and made it viral. After the complaint of the incident was registered, the police arrested both the accused and sent them to jail. The accused include Dilip Kumar Oraon and Mukesh Kumar Ganjhu. Both are residents of Ormanjhi police station area, while the victim lives in Karamtoli area of Ranchi city.

Video went viral after rape

The minor girl was friends with these two youths. One of them had called the girl to Rahartand village of Ormanjhi on December 31 in the name of a birthday party. Here the girl was tricked into drinking alcohol and both of them raped her in an isolated house. The youth also sent her nude video to many people.

Both accused arrested on victim’s complaint

After getting information about this, on January 10, the girl reached Ormanjhi police station with her mother and lodged a complaint. Police raided Chandra village and arrested both of them. Both have accepted the crime. A case has been registered against him under the POCSO Act and he has been sent to jail.
