Jaipur. Once again a case of religious conversion has come to light in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. In a house in Baba Laxman Das Colony in Kanjauli Line area of ??the city, some people were trying to convert Dalits and lower class people by luring them with money. More than 100 people were present in the house, including women and children. Some people were motivating Dalit men and women to adopt Christianity by telling them the importance of Christianity. They were also luring poor people by promising them a monthly help of 5 to 10 thousand rupees for adopting Christianity.
Sever SHO Anil Jasoria said that on Sunday morning around 11 o’clock, information was received about this matter that some people were running religious conversion activities in a house in Baba Laxman Das Colony. On this, the police team that reached the spot sent the common people gathered there to their respective homes. Two people have been arrested from the spot. On the basis of the report, a case has been registered and investigation has been started in this regard.
The local people protested against this as soon as they got the information and informed the police. The police that reached the spot has arrested two people in the case. Regarding the incident, Naresh Kasauda, ??the state vice-president of Maharaja Surajmal Youth Brigade, has registered a case in the Sewar police station. In the report filed, it has been alleged that every Sunday for the past one year, activities like religious conversion are carried out by some people in a house in Baba Laxman Das Colony. In the name of prayer, the organizers are tempting the poor and lower class people to adopt Christianity by luring them with money.
Naresh Kasauda alleges that people were being given all kinds of temptations to adopt Christianity. Along with monthly money, they were also being lured with getting rid of diseases, providing free education facilities to children, etc. People were called and gathered there in the name of prayers and they were also being provided with propaganda material related to their religion. It is alleged that such religious conversions are being organized in this house every Sunday for the past one year. On Sunday morning, when the people of Maharaja Surajmal Youth Brigade came to know about this, they reached the venue, where the ongoing program was stopped by expressing anger. Also, the police of Sewar police station was informed about the matter. Police have arrested two people from the spot.
