Jaipur News: The case of gang rape of a Dalit girl in the capital Jaipur is gaining momentum. Along with the people, leaders have also started coming forward to get justice for the girl. In this episode, Azad Samaj Party President Chandrashekhar has raised his voice in favor of the victim. Through his official social media ‘X’, he has demanded the state government to provide better treatment to the victim and give strict punishment to the culprits. In his post, he has described this incident as extremely condemnable, unbearable and unacceptable.
The victim is being treated at SMS Hospital, where a team of doctors is constantly monitoring her health. Currently, her condition is out of danger in her latest health bulletin. Due to which the victim can be shifted from ICU to the ward today (Tuesday).
What was the matter
On October 9, the victim was kidnapped from her house by four people. She was gang-raped near the house and late at night she was left outside the house in a bloody condition in a Bolero. With great difficulty the girl informed her father about the incident by telling the names of the four accused.
All four accused are in police custody
After this, on the complaint of the victim’s father, the police registered a case against the four accused Deepak, Girraj, Kundan and Ramavatar Meena and arrested them. Two of these accused were arrested on October 11 and two on October 13. Three of these accused already have a criminal history.
Questions raised on law and order
A lot of anger is being seen among the people since the incident. A large number of people sat on a dharna outside the police station for the victim. Apart from this, activists of Dalit organisations and Congress leaders also reached the protest site and raised questions on law and order.
