New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is on a three-day US tour. There he has again targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP and RSS. Rahul Gandhi said that the fear that was among the people before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections is over now. He said that ‘Modi ji’s 56-inch chest, direct contact with God, all this has become history now.’ Rahul Gandhi said this while addressing the Indian community in Herndon, Virginia.
He said that after the general elections ‘some change has definitely come’ in India. He said that the atmosphere of fear has disappeared. Rahul Gandhi said, ‘BJP and PM had created a lot of fear in the people with the pressure of media and agencies. But after the election results, this fear disappeared in a moment. It took them years to spread this fear, a lot of planning and money, but it took just a moment to end it.
Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi said, ‘I see the Prime Minister in front of me in Parliament and I can tell you that Modi ji’s 56-inch chest, direct contact with God, all this has become history now.’ Attacking the RSS, the Congress MP targeted the RSS for calling some states inferior to others. He said that the RSS says this because they do not understand India.
‘I sympathize with him’
Rahul Gandhi said, ‘India is a union of languages, traditions, religion. When Indian people visit their religious places, they merge with their deity. This is the nature of India. The misunderstanding of BJP and RSS is that they think India is a whole bunch of different things. I do not hate Narendra Modi. I do not agree with his point of view but I do not hate him either, in many moments I sympathize with him.’
