Punjab: Case of gang rape of 17-year-old Dalit girl, one accused arrested, 4 absconding
Budhlada: Manpreet Singh Golu, one of the accused of gang rape of a Dalit girl working in a beauty parlor in the local city, has been arrested. The rest of the accused are still away from the grip of the police. DSP Budhlada Ramanpreet Singh Gill has claimed to arrest the above accused soon.

According to the statement of the minor girl, seeing her standing at Guru Nanak College Chowk, Paramjit Singh Pamma, who is known to her, stopped the car and asked her to give a lift and drop her. Paramjit Singh Pamma and a person named Fauji were already in the car. Who took her to Karamjit Singh alias Dhuri’s car in village Datewas. Where he raped me.
After this, Pamma left her alone in the car at a pump near Guru Nanak at night. When she went home and told this incident to her aunt, she informed the police and took her to the government hospital for treatment. According to the police, on the basis of the girl’s statement, a case was registered against 5 youths Mewa Singh, Manpreet Singh Golu, Karamjit Singh Dhuri, Paramjit Singh Pamma resident Datewas, soldier Gurdeep Singh Dayalpura under POCSO Act, SC ST Act and Section 70 (1), BNC.
