On the complaint of his wife, constables Jaidev and Amit Kumar posted at Dhakia police post picked him up from his house at around 5 pm on Saturday evening. The constables brutally beat the Dalit youth at the Dhakia post. The Dalit youth became unconscious due to the beating. The brutality of the constables did not stop here. After the youth regained consciousness, they also made him massage their feet. In the morning, the video of the beating marks on the body went viral, which caused a stir in the police department. All the organizations got angry and reached the office of the Circle Officer with the victim. Where they also had a heated argument with the Circle Officer. Seeing the matter getting worse, the police registered a case against both the constables, along with this the Inspector has recommended their suspension.

Case registered against the constables

After the incident, the victim reached home and told his ordeal to his family. Meanwhile, someone made a video of him and made it viral. In which injury marks were visible on his body. After the video went viral, the organizations became active. On Monday morning, former Minister of State and BSP leader Surendra Sagar, President of Veer Bhagat Singh Yuva Morcha Rajat Kumar, District Incharge of Bhim Army Sunil Kumar, Ved Prakash Sagar associated with BJP Scheduled Caste Front, along with workers of all the organizations reached the office of the Circle Officer with the victim. They talked about registering a case against the accused constables. Seeing the situation deteriorating, the police started taking action against the constables. At the same time, Veer Bhagat Singh Yuva Morcha president Rajat Kumar had a heated argument with the area officer over taking the statement of the victim in private in the office.

The constables crossed the limits of brutality

The constables took the victim away on the complaint of his wife. It is alleged that both the constables drank alcohol at around 1 o’clock on Saturday night. After this, they asked him about his caste, then stripped him naked and started beating him with sticks. Not only this, the constables beat him so much using casteist words that he fainted.
