New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has once again targeted the Modi government over the caste census. He posted on X and wrote that Modi ji, if you are thinking of stopping the caste census, then you are dreaming, no power can stop it now! The order of India has come – soon 90% of Indians will support and demand caste census. Implement the order now, or you will see the next Prime Minister doing this.
In fact, Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi retweeted the Congress tweet in which the party had given the figures of the Mood of the Nation survey on caste census. According to the survey, with every passing time, the demand for caste census in the country is increasing. According to the survey, 74 percent people say that caste census must be done in the country.
Pressure has been put on the Center regarding caste census earlier also
Earlier also, while putting pressure on the demand for caste census, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said on Saturday that 90 percent of the people of the country are outside the system. Caste census is not politics for me, it is my mission. In the ‘Samvidhan Samman Sammelan’, Rahul said that 90 percent of the people are sitting outside the system. They have skill and knowledge, but they do not have access, that is why we have raised the demand for caste census. For Congress, caste census is the foundation of policy making.
We will conduct caste census and the 50 percent limit on reservation will be removed, which I do not accept. First of all, we should have data on the participation of different castes in different institutions. There are talks of reservation but they never get a chance. Lateral entry happens, I am guaranteeing you that you will not find anyone with 90% lateral entry.
