Nizamabad: Dalit man assaulted, paraded naked for soya bean theft
Nizamabad: Three farmers assaulted a Dalit man in Hunsa village of Bodhan mandal and paraded him naked for allegedly stealing their soya bean harvest. The incident was reported on Wednesday.
The victim lodged a complaint with the police, who said they were investigating the incident.
Palle Narayana, one of the three attackers, alleged he had placed soya bean harvest outside his residence for drying it, when the victim allegedly stole some of it. The farmer allegedly followed the trail of soya beans to the residence of the 31-year-old victim.
Palle Narayana, accompanied by two other accused, Palle Hanumandlu, Palle Siddaiah and Bhalerao Sailoo, went to the victim’s residence, allegedly found the stolen soya bean and assaulted the victim.
