Moradabad: Sub-inspector and two constables accused of making Dalit family lick spit, know the whole matter

Moradabad, A Dalit family in Majhola police station area has accused the sub-inspector and two constables of making them lick spit. The three policemen put pressure to evict them from the house. They made them lick spit when they refused to sign the documents. Regarding this matter, Vishwa Dalit Parishad demonstrated at the SSP office on Wednesday with the family. Action has been demanded against the three policemen.

National Secretary of Vishwa Dalit Parishad Omkar Singh has alleged that in another case, with the connivance of the accused, the sub-inspector and two constables of Majhola police station put pressure to evict them from the house. It is alleged that on May 7, 2024, the accused sub-inspector and constables brought the family to the police station and called them casteist words.

The family was locked in the lock-up when they refused to sign the eviction documents. After this, they were beaten up. There is an allegation, yet on denial, the inspector and two constables spit on the ground and made the three members of the family lick it. After this, the policemen started threatening to send them to jail in a false case.

After this, the policemen started action by getting a report registered against the family from some other person. When the family complained to the higher officials, the investigation was handed over to the Circle Officer. On Wednesday, the people of Vishwa Dalit Parishad staged a sit-in protest at the SSP office in this matter. Action has been demanded against the policemen.

The said case has not come to notice. If there is such an incident, then an investigation will be conducted. Further action will be taken on the basis of whatever facts come out in the investigation…, Superintendent of Police Nagar Kumar Ranvijay Singh.
