BSP supremo Mayawati has made a big Dalit move on the pretext of Kumari Selja. She has asked Dalit leaders to separate from Congress and casteist parties. Before this, BSP leader Akash Anand has offered Kumari Selja to join the party.

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati has accused Congress of sidelining Dalit leaders. She says that Congress and casteist parties remember Dalits in bad times and do not pay attention to them when good days come. BSP supremo has mentioned Haryana. Actually, after BJP, now Mayawati has also sympathized with Congress leader Kumari Selja. However, BSP national coordinator Akash Anand has offered Kumari Selja to join the party before BJP.

While sharing the post on Instagram, Mayawati wrote, ‘The political events that have taken place in the country so far prove that especially the Congress and other casteist parties remember to appoint Dalits as Chief Ministers and in important positions in the organization etc. for some time in their bad days, but these parties again ignore them (Dalits) in their good days. In their place, casteist people are appointed to those posts, as is being seen in Haryana state also.’

Dalit leaders should separate themselves from Congress- Mayawati

She said, ‘Such insulted Dalit leaders should take inspiration from their messiah Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and separate themselves from such parties and they should also come forward to keep their society away from such parties because Baba Saheb had resigned from his post of Union Law Minister for the self-respect and self-esteem of the weaker sections of the country.’

The BSP supremo said, ‘Inspired by Baba Saheb, I too had resigned from my Rajya Sabha MP post for the respect and self-respect of Dalits in the case of Dalit oppression in Saharanpur district, when it was ignored and I was not allowed to speak out. In such a situation, Dalits are advised to follow the footsteps of Baba Saheb.

Rahul announced to end reservation abroad: Mayawati

Attacking Rahul Gandhi, Mayawati said, ‘Congress and other casteist parties have been against Dalit reservation from the very beginning. Rahul Gandhi has gone abroad and announced to end it. These people must be cautious of such anti-Constitution, reservation and SC, ST, OBC parties.’

Earlier, Akash Anand had tweeted that first came the plan of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to end reservation. After this, casteist remarks were made on Kumari Selja by Bhupendra Hooda supporters. Anti-Dalitism is in the DNA of Congress. Kumari Selja should join BSP, BSP is the only party that is friendly to Dalit society. He appealed to Selja and said that she will get respect only in BSP.
