Mau: In a case of unintentional murder of a Dalit and insulting him by using casteist words in Ghosi police station area, Biraicha residents of the same police station area, Janardan, Rambriksh, Sangi alias Santraj and Parma were found guilty by the judge Harendra Prasad of the special court of Scheduled Castes and Tribes after trial.
At the same time, the accused Manoj, Bablu and Sunil were sent to the juvenile board after being minors. After hearing the accused on the point of punishment in this case, the court sentenced the convicted accused to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000 for the SC-ST crime of insulting the plaintiff by using casteist words. At the same time, the accused were sentenced to ten years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of five thousand rupees for the unintentional murder of the plaintiff’s husband Ram Narayan.
