Lucknow: Dalit woman gangraped while going out of the house to get medicine, case registered against 7 people

A case of gangrape of a Dalit woman has come to light in Lucknow, the capital of UP. The victim has filed a case against 7 people. Today i.e. Wednesday morning, the medical test of the victim is being done. This entire case is of Sushant Golf City police station area.
According to the information received, a Dalit woman living in Gosainganj area was going to get medicine at around 12 noon on Tuesday. It is alleged that Anwar, a resident of Cutter Baksa near Khurdahi market, and his 6 companions caught the woman. They forcibly took her to the garden and gangraped her.
When she protested, the woman was beaten up and her mobile was also snatched. After this, all the accused fled from there while threatening. The woman reached home and told her family about her ordeal. After this, the woman and her family registered a case of gangrape against seven accused including Anwar at the police station.
Sushant Golf City police station in-charge says that all aspects related to the incident are being investigated. All the accused will be arrested soon. Police teams are continuously raiding.
ADCP South Shashank Singh says that the victim is still in shock. We could not talk to her much. Strict action is being taken against the accused. The family members and close ones of the accused are also being questioned.
