KTR demands Rahul Gandhi to apologize Telangana youth on jobs
HYDERABAD: Calling Congress job calendar as bogus and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi should apologize to Telangana youth for not keeping the promise, BRS working president KT Rama Rao said Rahul Gandhi himself came to Ashok Nagar in Hyderabad and promised to fill up two lakh jobs in the first year after Congress coming to power in the state.
“Nine months ago, the Congress did drama in the name of jobs. They falsely propagated that KCR did not provide any jobs at all,” he said while protesting Congress govt job calendar at Gun Park on Friday.
Both Rahul Gandhi and CM Revanth Reddy should come to Ashok Nagar. “We will all come. If you say you have been given even one job, the BRS legislators will all resign. The Congress govt claimed that 30,000 jobs were given, but the recruitment was done by the BRS govt,” KTR said.
The Congress govt is trying to deceive the unemployed. ‘During the elections, the Congress leaders provoked the unemployed youth to get votes and come to power. Your job calendar is bogus, it has nothing but dates. When we asked to discuss it, the assembly speaker didn’t even give us two minutes, “ the BRS working president said.
What is more important in the state than the issue of two lakh jobs for the unemployed? The ruling Congress ran away from discussion in the assembly. The Congress promised to increase the number of jobs in Group-1, Group-2, and Group-3. Now avoided increasing the ratio to 1:100 in Group-1. The Congress came to power promising to amend GO No. 46, the working president said.
He said when we asked to discuss the job calendar in the assembly, the Congress members insulted us with a party-switching MLA Danam Nagender from our party. The MLA spoke in cheap language. Our MLA Kova Lakshmi said she couldn’t hear that language and asked us to leave. When we question the government on behalf of Telangana youth, do you insult us in such filthy language?, KTR said.
“The Congress govt made false propaganda in the Assembly regarding Hyderabad. They falsely claimed that the state is in debt. We showed that this state is a prosperous state with calculations, and they had nothing to say and fell silent. This petty Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is trying to mislead with false information,” KTR said.
Later, police forcefully arrested the legislators from Gun Park. The BRS party has condemned police excess on legislators for arresting them while peacefully demanding job numbers in the job calendar.
