AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi addressed a public meeting in Rajasthan’s Gagaria on March 12. During his speech, he talked about the Dalits. He said, “Dalits, Muslims, and the tribals, do not have a leader, but when it comes to the elections, the most number of votes are cast by them.
It is time for collecting votes instead of casting and for that you need to choose a leader. It is high time for Dalit Muslims to choose a leader or else you will have to weep later on. Keep this in mind, nobody cares for your tears. The ruling parties will only be scared if common people ask for their rights stubbornly keeping eye contact.
They must say that if their rights are not granted, the rulers would be dethroned.” He further said, “It has been 75 years since we got the freedom, but the people who believe in the maker of the constitution, Baba Saheb Ambedkar, are killed just for touching the water pot. What kind of freedom are we celebrating?”
