Barmer News: Even after 78 years of independence, cases of discrimination are not stopping. Even though strict laws have been made against untouchability in the country, caste discrimination is not stopping in rural areas even today despite the government’s lakhs of efforts for equality. One such case has come to light in a government school in Barmer district. Whose video is rapidly going viral on social media.
The video of discrimination against Dalit children in government school is from Government Higher Secondary School Dholi Nadi of Gudamalani, the assembly constituency of KK Vishnoi, minister in Rajasthan government, from Barmer district. In which the utensils for eating nutritious food of school children are also being kept separately. Children and their families say that children of Dalit community are being harassed for the last 1 year. Even on Independence Day, Dalit children were thrown out of school.
Even the food prepared in the school on Independence Day was not fed to Dalit school children. After the video of discrimination went viral on social media, there was a stir in the education department and administration. Giving clarification on the video, Barmer Police posted on social media platform X and said, “SDM, Tehsildar, CBEO Gudamalani, Patwari and Sarpanch are present in the school. Nutritious food is being prepared in the school, all the children will be fed by making them sit together. At the same time, the applicant Rauram Meghwal has given a written report to the Dhorimana police station officer regarding this entire matter, regarding which the police station officer has been instructed to take necessary legal action.
After the incident of discrimination in the government school, the education department also came into action and taking this matter seriously, sent Gudamalani CBEO to the spot and ordered an investigation into the entire matter. Chief District Education Officer Muralidhar Yadav said that strict legal action will be taken against those found guilty in the investigation.
