- Rahul raised questions about the fairness of Lok Sabha elections
- Congress leader said that this time controlled elections were conducted in the country
New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi, who went to America for three days, has given a big statement. Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi has directly raised questions on the fairness of Lok Sabha elections. The Congress leader said that before the elections, we kept insisting that institutions have been captured…we did not have a fair playing field. They had huge financial benefits. They had closed our bank accounts…Election Commission was doing what they wanted. Rahul Gandhi said that these things started coming together suddenly…I don’t think BJP was close to 246 in a fair election.
It was a controlled election, not a free one
Rahul said that I don’t consider it a free election. I see it as a controlled election. Rahul Gandhi said that the entire campaign was designed in such a way that Narendra Modi could say his point across the country. The states where he was weak were designed differently. Differently from the states where he was strong. Rahul Gandhi said that the education system is captured by the RSS.
Rahul said that the media and investigation agencies are captured. He said, we kept saying this but people were not understanding it…I started putting the Constitution in front and whatever I said suddenly burst out…poor India, oppressed India, India understood that if the Constitution is over, the whole game will be over.
OBCs, Dalits being cheated
The Leader of Opposition said that halfway through the campaign, Modi did not think he was close to 300-400 seats… When he said I speak directly to God, we knew. We knew we had completely demolished him… We saw it as a psychological collapse… The coalition that brought Narendra Modi to power has broken… There is a huge nexus between the government and two or three big businesses.
He said that OBCs and Dalits are being cheated. Rahul said that the poor people understood deeply that this is a fight between those who are protecting the Constitution and those who want to destroy it… The issue of caste census also became big.
