New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is on a US tour, here he has given a statement regarding reservation. This statement has increased the country’s political temperature. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi has given clarification from Washington DC. Rahul Gandhi said that my statement has been shown in a wrong way. Rahul Gandhi said that Congress party will increase the limit of reservation to more than 50 percent. He said that I am not against reservation. We are doing politics for the participation of all.
While talking to the media in Washington, Rahul said that his party has been misunderstood on the issue of reservation. They want to give reservation beyond 50 percent. He said that what we are saying is different from the idea of ??reservation only. We want a comprehensive understanding of what is going on and then want to implement a series of policies to fix it, reservation is also one of them. Rahul Gandhi said, ‘We are going to increase the reservation beyond 50 percent. I have been saying this repeatedly and have never been against reservation. Yesterday someone misrepresented my statement that I am against reservation. But let me make it clear that I am not against reservation. We want reservation to be 50%.’

Political temperature rises
Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) President Mayawati on Tuesday targeted the Congress party over Rahul Gandhi’s statement on reservation. Mayawati said that it is clear from Rahul Gandhi’s statement that his party has been conspiring to end the reservation of SC, ST and OBC for years. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has said that the Congress party will think about ending reservation only when there will be fairness in terms of reservation in India and it is not so right now. Rahul said this while addressing the students at the prestigious Georgetown University in America. Here the students of the university had questioned Rahul about reservation and asked how long it would continue.
