In a deadly attack on a Dalit woman and her family in Tehsil Naugarh of Chandauli district, a person repairing a tyre puncture got his head broken, his wife’s hand got fractured. Seeing the seriousness of the incident, the police have registered a case against six accused under sections related to SC ST.
Let us tell you that Ramsevak, a resident of village Bodalpur of Naugarh police station area, told in the complaint given to the police that he was putting up three sheds to protect his crop on Thursday morning, when the women of the neighborhood Chandrakala and Lalti came with sticks and started abusing and beating him.
After this, he called out and called Hargen, Phoolgen, Ram Kripa Yadav and Chandrika of the house and all of them together beat Ramsevak badly. Hearing the noise, Ramsevak’s wife Lilavati and son Pankaj came to intervene, but the attackers did not spare them either.
Lilavati’s hand was fractured and Pankaj was also beaten badly. People nearby somehow rescued them. After the incident, the attackers fled from the spot threatening to kill. Police station in-charge Jitendra Bahadur Singh said that a case has been registered against six accused including two women and the matter is being investigated.
