It was decided in the meeting that a committee would be formed to review the reasons for the defeat. The committee to be formed to review the defeat will talk to the candidates about this. It is worth mentioning that the Congress had complained to the Election Commission about EVMs that it won in those EVM machines whose battery was 90% or more charged, while Congress won on EVM machines with 70-80% charge.

Congress organization general secretary KC Venugopal, former Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, treasurer Ajay Maken were present in the meeting, while the state in-charge Deepak Bavariya, who is recovering, joined the meeting through video call. Sources said that the Congress high command will soon meet the senior leaders of Haryana. Discussions will be held in the coming time with Bhupendra Singh Hooda, state president Udaybhan, Kumari Selja and Randeep Surjewala and other leaders. Actually, the internal factionalism and tussle between these senior leaders is also being considered responsible for this defeat in Haryana.
