Gurugram: Tragic fate of Dalit youth for 3 thousand rupees

Gurugram: The electricity bill was Rs. 19,000. Inder Kumar took a loan from the villagers to pay that money. But, out of 19,000 taka, he spent 3,000 taka for personal reasons. As a result, the electric bill is no longer paid. And Inder was beaten up for this crime. He died as a result of the incident. The tragic incident took place in Gurugram, Uttar Pradesh.

According to the police, the deceased’s name is Inder Kumar. Inder Kumar, a resident of Gurugram, owns a grocery shop. It is alleged that he borrowed 19 thousand rupees and spent 3000 rupees. Inder Kumar’s father Dipchand Kumar filed a complaint with the police saying that four people of the village beat Inder Kumar severely and he died the day after the incident.

Dipchandbabu said in the complaint letter to the police that Sagar Yadav, a resident of Gurugram, gave Inder 19,000 rupees four days ago. But Inder spent 3000 rupees. Then last Monday, Sagar came home and took the remaining 16,000 taka. 3000 would be returned to him soon, he was told. But then Deepchandbabu alleged that he was called from home and beaten severely. He said, on Tuesday around 7:30 p.m. Sagar called my son and took him to a temple in the village. Inder promised him that he would return the remaining money tomorrow. I said if Inder can’t pay I will. But hours later, when my son came out of the house, Sagar and Azad, Four people of the village together with Mukesh beat him severely. Later, Inder’s family members rescued him and took him to the local health center. But as the condition deteriorated there, he was shifted to the Government Civil Hospital in Gurugram. He died there on Wednesday night. After that, on Thursday morning, his father Dipchand filed a complaint of Inder’s murder at the Bilaspur police station.

A case of murder has been registered against four persons including Sagar, Azad, Mukesh in connection with the death of Inder Kumar, said Inspector Rahul, SHO of Birajpur police station. He said that Inder Kumar’s body has been handed over to his family after post-mortem. But all the accused are absconding. The search for them has started and they will be arrested soon.
