Ajmer. A good news of social harmony has emerged from Ajmer, the city of Khwaja Garib Nawaz. A unique initiative has been taken in the marriage of a girl from Dalit community in Lohagal area of Ajmer city. At the wedding of Sakshi, 19-year-old daughter of Kailash Meghwal of Lohagal village, people of Rajput community made the bride sit on a mare and took out Bindauli in the entire village with drums. State President of Aam Janmat Party Ghanshyam Singh Banwara and State Vice President Shyam Singh Taswariyan took out this Bindauli by holding the reins of the mare.

This event took place on Tuesday night before Sakshi’s wedding. In the event, 14 year old boy Shubham Singh Banwada dressed the bride Sakshi. After this, on behalf of the Banwara Rajput family, the bride Sakshi and her family were invited to the royal banquet at Bindauli as per Rajasthani tradition. It was organized at the Garden Restaurant located in Lohgal. Hundreds of people witnessed this atmosphere of social harmony at the wedding. Photos of this bidoli and event are going viral on social media. Everyone is appreciating this initiative.
By organizing such events the discrimination prevalent in the society can be eliminated.
Regarding this initiative, State President Ghanshyam Singh Banwara said that there are many negative things about the Dalit society. In many places, Dalit grooms are not allowed to sit on the mare. It is taken down in many places. This is cowardice. Rajput society has always taken the Dalit society along. By organizing such events the discrimination prevalent in the society can be eliminated. It has been the religion of Rajput society to protect the backward sections of the society.
