Girlfriend killed her dalit lover after finding out caste, met on Facebook

A young man from Greater Noida found it difficult to hide his caste. He had trapped a young woman in his love trap by hiding her caste. It is alleged that after the truth of the lover came to the fore, the girlfriend killed him. The youth belonged to the Dalit society, while the girl belonged to the Gurjar caste.

The police arrested his girlfriend and sent her to jail for the murder of her lover. According to the police, Gaurav Kumar, resident of Anandpur village of Dadri Kotwali area and Rinki of Dankaur met for the first time on Facebook two years ago. Within a few days, this friendship turned into love. It has been told that Gaurav Kumar had written Gurjar in front of his name. According to the police, Rinki had befriended Gaurav on Facebook as a Gurjar. Rinki became infuriated after learning of her caste. It is alleged that under planning, she called her lover to Dadri on 23 May.

It is alleged that the girl and her family members beat her to death. It is alleged that the youth was also given poison. Due to which his condition kept getting worse. On receiving the information, the relatives of the youth, who reached there, admitted him to a hospital in Greater Noida. On May 24, doctors declared him brought dead during treatment.

Before dying, a video of the whole matter was made and uploaded on social media. In this case, the family of Gaurav Kumar had filed a case against 9 including Rinki. Police has also arrested the main accused Rinki from near Mihir Bhoj PG College located on GT Road. Additional DCP Vishal Pandey told that the reason for the murder was to write Gaurav’s Gurjar. He had called himself a Gujjar on social media.
