Ghaziabad News: Bullies attacked Dalit family, case registered against 13

Modinagar. In Faridnagar town of Bhojpur, miscreants attacked a Dalit family with sticks while strolling after dinner at night. The young man was seriously injured in the attack. The injured were sent to the hospital for treatment. Police have filed a report against 13 people including five named.

Mahesh Kumar told that two days ago at night after dinner he was walking with father Bijendra Jatav and mother Suman. As soon as he reached near Ramlila Maidan in the town, about 12 youths reached there and started abusing Mahesh. When they protested, the accused attacked Mahesh and his parents with sticks. Mahesh was seriously injured in the attack. Seeing the crowd that arrived after hearing the noise, the accused ran away threatening to kill them. ACP Gyan Prakash Rai said that on the basis of the complaint, a report has been registered against Nitin, Sumit, Kunal, Shiva and Anuj Sharma and eight unknown people under the sections of using caste related words and rioting and assault. Raids are being conducted in search of the accused.
