Food stall managed by transgenders opened at Guwahati railway station
A food stall was opened at Guwahati railway station, which is being managed by a transgender person. This is first of its kind outlet in the Northeast.
This is said that such initiatives will end discrimination. A Swati Bidhan Baruah said that the stall is a modest step towards empowerment of the transgender community, which will also help them find employment.
