Fatehpur News: The body of a Dalit youth missing for three days was found hanging from a tree in suspicious condition.
The body of a Dalit youth missing for three days was found hanging in suspicious condition on the banks of Bhaisauli village under Musafa outpost of Fatehpur Bakewar police station area. This incident has led to various discussions in the entire area. There is an atmosphere of apprehension and fear among the people.
The deceased’s sister has demanded a comprehensive investigation into the matter. The deceased youth has been identified as Mahesh Paswan alias Badke (37), son of late Ramswaroop and Danvati and a resident of Bhaisauli village. Mahesh was the second among sisters and brothers and has three sisters. Elder sister is Kiran, middle sister is Madhu and younger. Apart from this, there are younger brothers Amit, Aman and Chaman. Mahesh was married twice and divorced both the wives. The youth was missing since July 24.
According to the family, Mahesh was missing since around 2 pm on Wednesday. People searched everywhere, but no clue was found. The family kept calling, but his phone was not answered, due to which people started worrying. On Friday, some shepherds of Bisrauli village saw him hanging from a tree while grazing the animals. Due to fear and dread, they did not immediately inform about it. On Saturday morning, when this incident started being discussed in the village, the deceased’s brother Amit got the information about it. Immediately, a crowd of family members and villagers gathered at the spot.
At the spot, half the body of the deceased was found hanging on the ground and the branch of the tree was very thin, from which the young man was hanging. The deceased’s body was infested with insects and there was a terrible stench, which indicates that the death had occurred several days ago. When the forensic team was examining the body of the deceased, it was found that he did not have a slipper on his right foot, while he had a slipper on his left foot. According to sources, before Mahesh disappeared, he had gone to a liquor shop in the village, where he probably had a dispute with someone.
Due to this dispute, there is a possibility that he was murdered and his body was hung from the tree. On receiving information about the incident, Bakewar SO Kanti Singh and Musafa Chowki Incharge along with all the police forces reached the spot. The family members of the deceased have demanded a forensic investigation and have expressed suspicion of murder.
The police have registered a case and started investigating all the points. This suspicious incident has created a sensation in the entire area and people are discussing various things. The police is making every possible effort to get to the bottom of the matter and the truth is expected to come out soon.
