New Delhi: Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has made a big allegation. He posted on X and said that ED is preparing to raid against him. Rahul claimed that a conspiracy is being hatched against him after his ‘Chakravyuh’ speech in Parliament. He claims that an ED insider has informed him about the raids.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi posted on X (Twitter) and said, ‘Apparently, 2 in 1 did not like my Chakravyuh speech. ED ‘insiders’ tell me that raids are being planned. I am waiting with open arms, tea and biscuits to ED from my side.’
What was Rahul Gandhi’s statement on ‘Chakravyuh’
Let us tell you that on 29th July, Rahul Gandhi had fiercely attacked the government in the Parliament. He had said that a Chakravyuh has been prepared in the 21st century. Chakravyuh is in the shape of a lotus and Modi has put it on his chest. Rahul had also targeted the Finance Ministry’s Halwa Ceremony before the budget and said that there was no Dalit or backward class officer in it. On Rahul’s statement on Halwa, Sitharaman had tried to make that statement ridiculous by putting her hand on her forehead. BJP’s Sudhanshu Trivedi, referring to Nehru to Rajiv Gandhi and the UPA government, alleged that four generations ate Halwa and instigated Dalits and backward classes to revolt.
Anurag Thakur had hit back
BJP MP Anurag Thakur hit back at Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in Lok Sabha, saying that he should know that ‘LOP’ (Leader of Opposition) does not mean ‘Leader of Propaganda’. While participating in the discussion on the budget, he also said that Rahul Gandhi should not become a ‘real leader’ and should understand that to become a ‘real leader’ one has to speak the truth. The former Union Minister, while targeting the Congress leader, said that those who are “accidental Hindus”, their knowledge of Mahabharata is also “accidental”. He said, “A leader made a sarcastic remark on ‘lotus’. Don’t know what the problem is. An attempt was made to show the lotus in a bad light. The public has brought us to power for the third consecutive time.” Lotus is the election symbol of BJP. Thakur alleged, “You (Rahul) are not insulting the lotus, you are insulting Lord Shiva, Buddha.” He quipped, “Don’t be only a reel leader, to become a real leader you have to speak the truth.”
