New Delhi: Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia on Tuesday said he is ready to spend his next “17 births” in jail if this is the price he has to pay for good education for children.
He said Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is just a few days away from coming out of jail. Sisodia said there should be a caste census for development. “It is necessary to have a caste census in the country. We should have data for the development of backward people of the society.
Caste census will help us decide who can be promoted and in what way. ” Sisodia, who held a padyatra in Mangolpuri here, accused the BJP of registering false cases against AAP leaders and MLAs. He said, “They sent me, Sanjay Singh to jail and then put Arvind Kejriwal behind bars in a fake case.
They thought they will not let us come out of jail before the Delhi elections. They wanted to come first in the race without competition, but they forgot that there is a Constitution, there is a Supreme Court which has ensured that truth prevails.”
