Delegation of Dalit,OBC,Minority attended Bahujan Sansad 2023, Delhi

Jammum, Today a delegation of Dalit,OBC,Minority under the banner of All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organisations and under the leadership of R K Kalsotra, State President Confederation & DOM returned back after attending Bahujan Sansad 2023 which was called in Constitution Club New Delhi held on 2nd July 2023 under the dynamic leadership of Dr Udit Raj.

The agenda of the Bahujan Sansad 2023 including protection of Constitution and democracy, naming of new Parliament House on the name of Dr B R Ambedkar, reservation in Judiciary and higher education, clerance of pending backlog in employment,toto 27% Mandal Commission Report,and all minorities fundamental rights enshrined in the constitution and to save Constitution and democracy, reservation in the private sector, stoppage of caste based atrocities, etc Bahujan Sansad was called for on 2 July at Constitution Club, New Delhi.

RK Kalsotra said that the J&K Unit participated in the event with a generous donation of 50,000 rupees for smooth operations of the confederation. He also said that J&K has a lot of issues that should be addressed at the national level. These include implementation of reservation in promotions retrospectively, full implementation of Mandal Commission report, clearance of the backlog, implementation of SC/ST Atrocities act in spirit, address the rising cases of caste based atrocities, stop the dilution of ST & OBC status by giving reservation to nonST & OBC (forward classes Groups). All these issues were highlighted by Kalsotra and were acknowledged by all those who were present. He also said that national level support is required to address these issues and thus, all should stand united to work towards forming a solid front.

Dr Udit Raj, National Chairman Confederation, also added to these demands and said that the agenda of the government has been made quite clear by now and it is important for people to stay united to achieve the true objectives of the constitution of India.

Sardar Narinder Singh Chairman Sikh Intellectuals of J&K & Ashu Peter Mattoo State J&K President, Christian Sabha , National Executive Members Ms Nisha Samuel & Babu John while addressing fully supported the Sansad and assured to join hands in future struggle.

All the State Presidents of Confederstion along with National General Secretary Dr OM Sudha and some prominent leaders also addressed the Bahujan Sansad and later on in one voice passed a resolutions to hold a massive rally in winter at Delhi to addresses their demands
