Dalit MLAs Boycott YSRCP’s Bus Trip
Dalit vote bank is backbone for YSRCP to win any election. But unfortunately, dalits not digested the Jagan’s governance since 4.5 years. Their agony and frustration is clearly visible on YSRCP’s bus yatra in Konaseema. Dalit MLAs, including District Minister Vishwaroop, reportedly stayed away from the YSRCP Social Empowerment Bus Yatra program organized by Dr. BR Ambedkar in Kothapet, Konaseema district.
The absence of Dalit MLAs in the event is said to be linked to their dissatisfaction with the attitude of MLA Jaggireddy of Kothapet. During the event, despite a significant gathering, people quickly left, and the chairs in front of the stage were left empty.
The Dalit MLAs, who were expected to attend the program, chose not to participate, revealing internal differences within the party. The meeting, presided over by Kothapet MLA and Government Whip Chirla Jaggireddy, saw the absence of key figures, including Ministers Venugopalakrishna, Karumuri Venkata Nageswara Rao, Legislative Council Chairman Moshenraju, Rajya Sabha Member Pilli Subhasachandra Bose, and local MPs and leaders.
The absence of these prominent leaders at the event has caused a stir within the YSRCP in the district. Additionally, there are rumors circulating about Minister Vishwaroop’s potential move to join Jana Sena after January. The political dynamics and internal dynamics within the YSRCP in the district seem to be evolving, reflecting the complexities and challenges faced by the party in the region.
