Dalit man stabbed to death in UP’s Banda for refusing to fetch alcohol
Police have arrested the man who stabbed the Dalit man after the latter refused to bring liquor for him.
A Dalit man was stabbed in Uttar Pradesh’s Banda for allegedly refusing to bring liquor for his attacker. A case has been filed and the accused, Raju, was arrested.
The incident took place in Jaurahi village while Premchandra, the Dalit man, was sitting outside his house on Sunday. According to his family, he was sitting outside when a person from the village approached Premchandra and asked him to bring liquor for him.
Premchandra refused to give liquor to the man, Raju. Raju then started stabbing the Dalit man in his stomach and neck.
He was rushed to hospital where he died during treatment.
Premchandra’s relatives told the police that Raju has a criminal background. He was later arrested by the police.
