India News (India News), Dalit Man Attacked in Morbi: Police in Gujarat’s Morbi city have registered a case against a businesswoman and at least six others for allegedly assaulting a 21-year-old Dalit man who worked in her company for a fortnight. A case has been registered for assaulting him and forcing him to apologize by placing his shoes in his mouth.

What is the whole matter?
Regarding this matter, an official said that this incident happened on Wednesday. Victim Nilesh Dalsania lodged a complaint, based on which Morbi city’s ‘A’ Division police on Thursday registered a First Information Report (FIR) against Vibhuti Patel alias Raniba, her brother Om Patel and the manager, among others. Meanwhile, Parikshit, Deputy Superintendent of Police (SC/ST Cell) Pratipalsingh Zala said that Vibhuti Patel is the owner of Raniba Industries Private Limited, which has its office in a commercial complex at Ravapar intersection. The FIR states that, in early October, he hired Dalsania, a tiles marketer, at a monthly salary of Rs 12,000.
Man attacked for asking for salary
However, on 18 October he suddenly dismissed him. It said that, when Dalsania asked for his salary for the 16 days he worked at the company, Patel did not give any clear answer and then stopped responding to his calls. “When Dalsania, his brother Mehul and neighbor Bhavesh went to Patel’s office on Wednesday evening, the businessman’s brother Om Patel reached there with his associates and started attacking the three,” Jala said. Vibhuti Patel also slapped her and dragged her to the rooftop of the commercial complex, the FIR said, according to news agency Press Trust of India. It said the accused, including Parikshit Patel, Om Patel and six to seven unidentified people, beat him with belts and also kicked and punched him.
Young man forced to take shoes in his mouth
The complainant alleged that Vibhuti Patel forced her to put her shoes in her mouth and apologized to him for demanding her salary. She also threatened to kill him if he was seen again in the Ravapar crossing area. They also shot a video and forced him to say that he had come to Vibhuti’s office to extort money.
Case registered against the accused
In a video, the accused are seen pressurizing the Dalit man to apologize to the woman employer for demanding his salary. Police said that after returning home, the Dalit man was taken to Morbi Civil Hospital where he is undergoing treatment. “All the accused have been booked under relevant sections of assault, criminal intimidation, rioting and SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act,” Jala said. Along with this, he said that the investigation of the case is going on and no arrest has been made yet.
