Dalit girl assault case: Gazetted officer will investigate, treatment of minor continues, know update
Khandva. In the Khalwa police station area of ??Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh, the case of assault on a minor Dalit girl has started catching up. A case has been registered on behalf of both the parties. Both have their own allegations. Seeing the matter catching up, the administration is also on alert mode. It has been decided to conduct an inquiry by a gazetted officer in the matter. The Collector has told that the crime has been registered on the basis of complaints from both the parties. Now gazetted officers will investigate the matter.

In Khandwa’s Khalwa village Bhagwa, a Matki burst program was going on on Janmashtami. After coming out of the viral video pandal, 10-15 people are seen beating the Dalit girl. After this the matter reached the Khalwa police station, but after the resignation from both the sides, the matter was settled. But after this the matter once again got embroiled in controversies. In this case, the family members have raised the demand for in-depth investigation by registering a complaint.

The discussion of assault on a Dalit and a minor girl is in the whole district. Different allegations are also being made regarding this. The collector also took cognizance in the matter and gave necessary guidelines. Khandwa SP Vivek Singh said that now the matter will be investigated by a gazetted officer. Earlier, the injured girl was admitted for treatment in Khalwa, but after not getting better treatment there, she was admitted to the district hospital in Khandwa on Tuesday night. Written complaint has been given on behalf of both the parties in the matter. One side says that the father of the minor reached the religious program after drinking alcohol and started creating a ruckus. The refusal escalated the controversy.
