CM poses 10 questions to Rahul on Cong-NC alliance
Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi has posed 10 questions to Congress MP Rahul Gandhi after the party’s coalition with National Conference for Jammu and Kashmir polls.
In a press statement, Majhi asked Rahul to clarify his stand on whether the Congress supports NC’s stand of a different flag for Jammu & Kashmir. Majhi also asked if the Congress supports the NC’s promise to reinstate Articles 370 and 35A, thereby encouraging terrorist activities in the region.
“Instead of establishing peace and harmony through dialogue with the people of J&K, does Congress support talks with Pakistan, our arch-enemy, thereby encouraging separatists?” he asked.
“Does the Congress support the NC’s decision to provide govt jobs to individuals involved in terrorist and stone-pelting activities and their family members?” he further asked. Majhi asked that through the Congress-NC alliance, is there a conspiracy to end the reservation system, thereby causing injustice to Dalits, Gujjars, Bakarwals and residents of hilly areas.
He asked does the Congress support the NC’s conspiracy to rename ‘Shankaracharya Hill’ as ‘Takht-e-Suleiman’ and ‘Hari Parbat’ as ‘Koh-e-Maran’.
“Does the Congress support the political move to push J&K’s economy back into corruption and transfer it to a specific Pakistan-supported family?” he asked.
