Yamunanagar Haryana Government has decided to provide 20 per cent reservation in promotion for Scheduled Caste (SC) employees in all cadres of Group A and Group B posts. Scheduled caste employees are happy with this decision of the government.

Regarding this, the National Executive Member of BJP OBC Morcha and Municipal Corporation Mayor Madan Chauhan along with the officials of Mahasabha, Dera Baba Lal Das Sabha and many employee unions expressed their gratitude to Education Minister Kanwarpal and Mayor Madan Chauhan by giving them a bouquet at their residence.

The Mayor said that Chief Minister Manohar Lal and Education Minister Kanwar Pal have fulfilled the long standing demand of the Dalit community by deciding to provide reservation in promotion to Scheduled Caste (SC) employees in all cadres of Group A and Group B posts. Is.

The government has taken a big step by giving this gift to SC category employees before Diwali and Dussehra. Earlier governments used to collect votes only in the name of Dalits. The Mayor said that under the new policy, 20 percent of the sanctioned posts will be reserved for promotion quota for SC employees. At present 74850 Group C posts are reserved for Scheduled Castes in the state. Of these, 48140 employees are working in the state.
