In this case, people from the boy’s side told that a few days ago, a backward caste girl from Hussaina Chak of Patna district fell in love with a Dalit youth from Anjani village, after which both of them ran away from their homes. After this, people from the girl’s side were continuously pressurizing us to bring the girl back.
According to the family members of the Dalit boy, they were taking the initiative to contact the boy at their level and call him back, but in the meantime suddenly many people from the girl’s side, armed with weapons, reached the village and beat us badly. Injured. The family members told that we have also informed about this in the local police station.
At present all the injured people are undergoing treatment at Jehanabad Sadar Hospital. The injured include both men and women. After the information, the local police has started taking further action. Please note that both the boy and the girl are minors. The districts are different, but both the villages are nearby.
